UAE shuts public & private beaches, swimming pools, public parks, fitness centres and cinemas which closure start on March 22, Sunday and will last for 15 days.
As per Abu Dhabi reports, The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NECDMA) have announced the closure starting Sunday (March 22, 2020) of public and private beaches, parks, swimming pools, movie theatres, and sports halls and lounges for a period of two weeks, and decided to regulate the operation of restaurants, cafes, and F&B outlets for the same period.
This decision, will be reviewed after two weeks.
The states clarify that restaurants, cafes, and F&B outlets will continue home delivery services during the closure period imposed and serving customers is also possible, provided that only 20 percent of the seating capacity is used at any given time so that the necessary distance between people can be maintained which is 2 meter.
Outdoor and self-order kiosks are exempted.
The abu dhabi government have urged all relevant federal, local, and private institutions to ensure compliance with these decisions as per the law and to roll out all necessary guidelines to boost public awareness for the people.
